So you've had Tommy the Tauros for some time now. He's big and he's bad, and he's served countless battles by your side as a worthy adversary. Why, then, is he only just as hardy as your friend's Timmy the Tauros, a pokemon hardly out of calfhood?
Hit point increases are your solution to this dilemma. By applying for an additional hit point, you can increase your pokemon's constitution in battle and set him apart from the other pokemon of his species.
So how do you get an extra hit point on one of your pokemon? Any evidence you can muster will suffice! Logs of battles, particular those in which the pokemon is victorious or puts up a good fight versus a gym leader or against a pokemon it is weak against, will be your bread and butter, and you will be required to submit at least four. The more you send in, the better your chances!
It is significantly more difficult, though not impossible, for a pokemon to receive more than one extra hit point in this way without evolving. Upon evolution, all extra hit point bonuses are cleared, since an additional hit point can be seen as a "stepping stone" between stages as the pokemon grows toward its next stage. Therefore, if your extra strength Ekans evolves into Arbok, it will have 6 hit points, not 7. However, the stigma pertaining to the difficulty in getting more than one hit point is also cleared - don't feel that by giving your Ekans an extra hit point that you'll make it much harder to get one on your Arbok!
Only one HP may be applied for each month. Send apps to pokemonotherapps@gmail.com.
