>> 2. Names of any alts, current or previous, you have had on Pokemon Dreams.
Rapanui
This part isn't bad, just confusing. This app came in a few days before we even opened. Obviously, if you've never played on Pokemon Dreams, you've never had an alt with us, and simply saying "none" or "n/a" is fine.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 3. Your character's name (what you'd like us to create you as):
Kimeru (in the English WB dub, his name is Mike)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 4. Your character’s full name:
Ashita Kimeru (Mike McMichealson. Damn dubbers.)
This part makes it seem like he's applying for a character in the cartoons. While none of us could figure out the specific character, characters from the cartoon are not open for application. Please refrain from applying for them.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 5. Your character’s date of birth (pokemon can use generalities like old, young, adolescent, etc.):
February 29th. He's technically 14 years old, but could be 3.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 6. Your character’s place of birth or hometown:
Gunjo City, an industrial town.
Currently, we are only accepting applications for trainers based in Kanto. Gunjo City isn't in Kanto.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 7. What is your character like? What is their background? How did they become the person they are today? Let us know about relevant likes and dislikes (for example, if a person is claustrophobic because their brother locked them in a closet). If your character is a Rocket or PokeForcer, what led them to become one? This should be the bulk of your application.
Kimeru's parents were scientists and machinists. They met during a project involving the utilization of electric pokemon in power production (a popular area of research Back In The Day) and married while still knee-deep in their work. By the time Kimeru was born, they were part of the bandwagon that research Pokemon Genetics and the creation of stronger Pokemon through genetic manipulation and specialized breeding techniques.
Since Giovanni and similar wealthy patrons had the best scientists related to these fields, Kimeru's parents were left to wallow in failure due to low funding and regulations limiting what they could experiment on. Nevertheless they made limited progress in the field and went so far as to propose a hybridization procedure for increasing the bulb side of Bulbasaur evolutions.
By the time Kimeru was ten, other boys and girls were getting into Pokemon to train them for battle and home use. Kimeru was busy exploring Pokemon anatomy by cutting open corpses, studying old tomes written by the earlier Professors, and tormenting the neighbor's Growlithe by studying the effects of kerosene in the animal's food bowl. Kimeru's parents received many complaints about how their son molested these animals in the name of his scientific explorations. Kimeru's explorations were curbed by strong words. His parents forbade him from exploring what Kimeru found the most interesting: the Pokemon species before Life and after Death.
Kimeru spent the next four years learning everything he could about Pokemon Biology, Anatomy, and Breeding in preparation for his 'ultimate project', the creation of a Pokemon from the parts of others and animating it with life-giving energy. He kept a tome in which he detailed all the Pokemon body parts he wanted for his creation, the suturing procedures he would use, the chemical conditions under which the healing process within Pokemon Healing machines could be used to instill life to the inanimate-but-Pokemon flesh, and the expected attribute levels the Pokemon would have. It would be mindless, feral, but tactically advanced in its vicious use of Pokemon powers. Only the most strong willed and high level of Trainers could think to tame and control such a beast for even a short time. But Kimeru was only worried about its birth and its death - not its life.
By the time Kimeru was fourteen, his meticulous plan, written in his "Journal" (a scientific tome with 1000 pages and weights a ton), was finished. He left the house on his "Pokemon Journey", but in reality he is out to explore the world of Science as a Pokemon researcher, biologist, and eventually... maybe he'll get the chance to play Pokemon God.
On the road, Kimeru claims to be a "Pokemon Breeder" (which means he'll always be as strong as a Rookie Trainer and will rarely capture new Pokemon). He offers suggestions to anyone who asks for his expertise and will trade food-preparation tips with any he meets, but it often will become apparent that Kimeru's interest in Pokemon is a little deviant. He'll express interests in when someone's Pokemon will die of old age and similar creepy topics. He has been known to make more than a few younger trainers cry, and he's made others unhappy. As a result, he has few friends on the road.

// POKEMON //
/////////////
He grew up in Gunjo City, where Magnemites are a dime a dozen, so it's only natural that Kimeru's starting Pokemon would be a Magnemite. This Magnemite has no name [ =( ] because Kimeru doesn't believe it deserves a name. ("I don't name my pen or my calculator. I'm not naming this either.") Despite his cold treatment of Magnemite, Kimeru finds it extremely useful for mundane purposes - carrying metal things he doesn't want to heft, powering his lamps and batteries when they die out, and showing him which way a city is by following the 'scent' of power lines.
The Magnemite is devoted to helping Kimeru (since it's a Pokemon), but it wishes he were nicer and more understanding of his kind. Magnemite hates when Kimeru starts doing his 'experiments' and will often hide in its Pokeball during these moments, or attempt to stop him by throwing a tantrum interspersed with electric shocks. As smart as Kimeru is, he doesn't think Magnemite is distressed by his experimentation on the dead. He thinks the steel monster is just needy (and therefore troublesome).

- Kimeru's creation, in the simplest of terms, would have the following properties.
* It would be a Flying / Steel type. (Potent combination.)
* It would have no evolutions. (He believes evolutions are a weakness of design, like being born young and having to wait your whole life to become an adult. He'd rather his creation be born an 'adult'.)
* It would have no capacity for human-like emotions and social interaction, but it would have human intelligence in the sense of battle tactics and mission parameters. (In essence, like a Terminator robot.)
* It would have an extremely high birth rate, making it Common (assuming the creation and its first few siblings live long enough to breed).
* The creature's project name is "Griselda," or Zelda for short. It is a corruption of Grishild, meaning 'dark battle'. The final Pokemon will probably look like a dragon or flying dinosaur, but it will not be a Dragon.
- Kimeru is allergic to raspberries and raspberry scents, like little girl perfumes. He sneezes violently and will shout obscenities at the culprit, often resulting in public outbursts and a run-in with Officer Jenny.
- Kimeru is perversely drawn to graveyards and battle sites where he might find Pokemon, uh, 'parts'. Usually he finds nothing since Pokemon, by nature, are extremely durable and bio-degradeable. (They don't explode into chunks even when someone Explodes or Self-Destructs.)
- As befits a Pokemon Breeder, Kimeru is an excellent cook. His parents are always working, so he's had experience with stoves. They're not all that different from Bunsen Burners. Kimeru's favorite recipe is Filet Mignon.
Whoah. This is well-written, other than a few minor spelling and grammar errors, but the places it goes! First, a boy of fourteen is not going to have the knowledge necessary to do something like create a pokemon. Also, we are not asking for player-created pokemon, and if we were, we wouldn't be looking for a Terminator-like pokemon. The talk about being a breeder is rather iffy too. While he's not actually a breeder, he is posing as one, and we require staff permission before applying to be a breeder. As an extra note, we don't need to know that stats of a starter pokemon. We just go with the typical ones listed in +pokeinfo (pokemon name), since our primary focus is RP, not stats.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 8. Write your character’s profile as it should appear in +finger. This should be three to five lines long.
Kimeru is very cold when it comes to Pokemon. He treats them as animals, degrades them by saying (and believing) they are "creatures pretending to be intelligent like humans." He claims that they exist only to satisfy the needs of the human race. He is slightly intimidated by girls but always tries to put up a strong, stoic front when around people. He is a Breeder in name, but he doesn't like to train or battle. He's more interested in Dead Pokemon and Pokemon that are born, which might be a little awkward for trainers with pregnant Pokemon or unhatched eggs. He'll get all up in there business.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> 9. Write your character’s physical description. This should be at least five lines long. Remember to avoid telling the viewer that they feel or do something (for example, do not write, When you look at Jane, you know that she’s a genius.).
Kimeru is a fourteen year old boy with the look and air of a seasoned scientist. His hair is a spiky, dark green mess, and his eyes are an equally green color. He wears a long white lab coat over his white button-up shirt (geek!) and black jeans. He wears black boots for the long hikes on the road and into areas where he might find something relevant to his scientific interests. He has a utility belt for his Pokeballs, his navigation equipment, his Pokedex, and his scientific equipment (which include a scalpel, a scientific calculator, and sealable vials for excretions or samples).
