So you want to earn a badge? Reading this file is the right place to start!
Note: Like hunting for wild pokemon, this will not be a free for all. There will be no running from one end of the map to the other to hit all the gyms you can in the shortest amount of time! Instead there is a very short application to fill out. If everything is alright with your application, you will be allowed to battle the gym leader. This battle will be observed by a staff member and they will make sure that your role-play merits a win. If this happens, then they'll page the gym leader that his or her pokemon will get knocked out. Badges are going to be semi-rare, you will have a good chance of winning but you must use your best strategies to pull off a victory. The more badges you have earned, the more challenging the matches will become! Remember, it isn’t always winning matches that raised famous trainers to the top. Compassion, cleverness and real knowledge of pokemon is important!
